History

Our Fraternity was founded on January 17, 2018, in Prince William County, Virginia.

Motivated and healed by their mutual love, newtype connection, and sense of camaraderie, two co-pilots saw a need for a Fraternity of Aviators to both belong to and nurture – a Brotherhood of those who carry the same spirit of rowdiness and standing that the co-pilots found in each other, and a formalized framework to share the bond they developed with those close to them.

The founders, having met on unlikely grounds, deemed their meeting and the healing relationship that followed a fated occurrence. Inspired to develop a language and ritual with which to codify and share this brotherhood, they began drafting a process for initiation mirroring the blossoming of their friendship and love, with a symbolic ritual to accompany it. This initiatory process shares the symbols that brought them together, and illustrates to the new initiate the values they found in each other.

On the cold winter night of January 17, 2018, in the secrecy of the room selected for this purpose, they established this Fraternity with their mutual initiation.

They immediately set to work collecting like-minded friends and individuals who embodied the word and spirit of their shared values, who wished to partake in the Tufore on which this Fraternity was founded, in order to strengthen the existing bonds and forge new ones among the membership, forming the Alpha Chapter of Zeta Zeta Aviators Club.

Zeta Zeta Aviators Club continues to welcome those who have the spark within them.
