It signifies a lifelong dedication to the righteous rowdy and a proud passion for the Skies. It marks the Aviator as a vital and unique part of the greater Fraternity.
The chief benefit to fraternal membership is the bond we forge as a unit, beginning as friends or as strangers. Aviators come together to take part in sports, collaborative art projects, philanthropy, and other activities for the betterment of ourselves and our communities.
Aviators come from many walks of life, and we encourage each other to go above and beyond in our pursuits. Aviators are Aviators for life.
Who Can Be an Aviator?
Being a radical and inclusive Fraternity, we welcome all over the age of 18 who qualify by virtue and merit for our esteemed ranks.
Requirements
The prospective pledge must satisfy the following:
- Exemplify our Tenets in their everyday life as reported through self-evaluation and personal interpretation;
- Be 18 years of age or older.

Process
Recruitment begins with the potential new member’s expression of interest, and ends with their formal acceptance into Aviators Club as Aviators made through our Initiation Rite.
If you are interested, let an Aviator know!
Rush
After expressing interest, you may be submitted for consideration by an active Aviator.
If approved, you may be extended a bid, or a formal invitation to join our Fraternity.
Upon acceptance of this bid, you will begin your pledgeship.
New Member Education
During the new member education period, or pledgeship, pledges may take part in communal discussion spaces and activities as a probational member of Aviators Club.
The pledge will be required to complete the Tufore in order to qualify for Initiation. The completion of the Tufore is the primary function of the pledging period.
The new member education period lasts for as long as it takes for the pledge to complete their Tufore, and until the date of their Initiation.
This period ends with the Initiation Rite, a proud and meaningful secret ceremonial acknowledgement of the completion of the Tufore. During this ceremony, the new Aviator is provided with further instruction in membership.
Immediately after the ceremony concludes, they may call themselves an Aviator and fully partake in our Fraternity.
Tufore
Since our founding, the prerequisite to initiation of all members is the completion of a Tufore, or the creation, reception, or performance of 24+1 acts.
This project may be as simple or as arduous as the pledge defines for themself, and may take as much or as little time as the project requires.
Upon acceptance of a bid, pledges announce their intention to complete a Tufore and its chosen method, and once approved, the pledge must complete their Tufore in order to be eligible for the Initiation Rite.
In the Initiation Rite, the completion of the Tufore will be formally recognized, and the pledge will be made an Aviator.
Restrictions on acceptable Tufore methods are defined in Bylaws, article IV §3(e).
Inclusivity
Zeta Zeta Aviators Club initiates new members of any gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation, and is explicitly LGBTQIA-friendly.
We welcome Aviators from all walks of life, as stated in our Constitution:
Membership in this organization will not be restricted on the basis of race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, gender identity, gender expression, sex, or age, excepting the exclusion of minors under the age of 18.

Fees
There are no dues or fees required for membership in Zeta Zeta Aviators Club (ZZA Constitution, article IX §1).
